The first hour of consultancy is FREE and is a great way to better understand the desired outcomes and goals of the client. While I have attempted to outline the proposed costs involved below, at the end of the day I will supply an upfront cost for each amount of work to be undertaken. The client can then make the decision to proceed with the intended work, or not.
The hourly rate beyond that point will be $175 per hour, ( GST excluded ) for each item of work to be undertaken, I will supply a fixed time to carry out each piece of work. For example, if I needed to drive to site and carry out an inspection and report on a few blocks of vacant land, the standard price would be one hour per block and depending on the drive time, half an hour for travel. As previously mentioned, the hourly rate is $175 per hour or part thereof. After the initial hour, anything over 30 minutes duration will be charged out at the full hourly rate.
The same hourly rate would apply for most of the services offered above, $175 per hour plus a reasonable travel allowance, only if a lot of travel time is required. The cents per km rate is set each year by the ATO. The current rate for the 2021/2022 tax year is $0.72 cents per business-related kilometre.
If any Architects, Engineers or other professionals are required to provide surveys, drawings, floor plans, construction details or Council documentation, my additional charge will be 10% on top of the contractor’s invoice
Any additional work required that has not been previously identified between the client and myself, we will work out a fair and reasonable cost, before proceeding with the work.
A 50% deposit will be required up front and the outstanding balance to be paid upon completion of the specific tasks involved. All transactions will be invoiced, plus GST will apply to all invoiced amounts.
